| This paper reviews the thinking and publication practice for Journal of Integrative Plant Biology (JIPB) and indicates main factors for JIPB to become a top quality journal in China. The main factors being practiced included suitable journal's aims and scope, an international editorial board, joint publication with overseas publisher, open access, excellent manuscripts on subject frontier, a short publication period, high quality publication, wide promotion for JIPB as well as an editorial office with high efficiency. |
