| On the basis of summarizing the 8-year journal publishing practice of the Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery, we raise the strategies of creating the elite medical journals.1) Possessing a clear orientation of the journal and serving the development of subject are the emphases.2) Properly designing the columns, establishing a platform for academic communications and promoting the development of the relevant subjects and the journal are the backbones.3) Continuously improving the quality of the journal to create the elite medical journal is the goal. |
