| Diversified English translations of Chinese authors' name in sci-tech journals have brought difficulties for the communication and the literature retrieval. A suggestion is proposed for the departments concerned to set up as soon as possible standards that conform to today's characteristics. This paper also holds that the journal publishers should normalize the English translations of Chinese names.
