| There are many names about gene, protein, restriction endonuclease, virus and plasmid in the molecular biology papers. And whether their typesetting should be in roman or italics remain very chaotic in some Chinese journals. After checking the nomenclature rules and searching Chinese and foreign literatures about those names, the authors have summarized the standardized rules of typesetting. |
