The importance of the editorial planning are discussed and emphasized in terms of a successful publication, including its content, readership, ads revenue, branding, and circulation. A 3-faceted evaluating system is suggested based on industry hot issues, relevant coverage, and targeted advertising. Case studies are provided to illustrate how the system is used in running a successful sci-tech journal. |
