| An investigation and a statistic analysis were carried out on the misapplication of Chinese punctuation marks in the English abstracts of Chinese sci-tech periodicals. Then we put forward some countermeasures and suggestion about the standard expression of English punctuation marks. The purpose of this study is to help improve the quality of English abstracts in Chinese sci-tech periodicals. |
