| The retrieval of over 400 journals and more than 120 books concerning tourism from 30 publishers revealed that the phonetic letter "ü" had been misspelled seriously in these journals and books, in which "v" or "u" used as a substitute. This paper studies the roots for this spelling error and puts forward specific measures to eliminate the spelling error of "ü". |
