| Journal of Nanjing Forestry University insists on editing and publishing in special model. Good achievements are obtained through the special columns to report the first-hand research and development results from big projects. According to the university with major specialty and obvious advantages in subjects, it is practical and feasible to improve and develop the journal by integration of manuscripts in special columns. It is able to realize the journal targets and maximum effectiveness by keeping on journal specialty and academic primary spirits. It helps to suggest development direction of science and technology in the university. University journals also must focus on paying attention to the R & D activities, having the sensitivity to R & D achievements, clearly understanding the situation of publishing industry and pursuing the scientific effectiveness by journals since they are the most important factors for university journals.
