| As an innovative format in recent years, the electronic journals get some properties, the use of multimedia, new distribution formats, enrichment of the communications with the experts, increased user interaction. To describe the recent development of the e-journals of Chinese Medical Association, here we focus on the introduction of characteristic columns including video, exquisite courseware, special case report, academic expert, expert consensus, special cases meta, research news, and so on. Especially, video columns include surgery demonstration, expert lecture, live conference, endoscopy demonstration, which show the advantages of multimedia of electronic medical journals, the prospects of development and the problems. |
