| Aiming at the predicament of the malicious rush registration of Chinese domain names, the Chinese domain name's impact on the development of sci-tech periodicals is discussed in this paper. The legal characteristics of Chinese domain names and the motivation of the rush registration are analyzed. According to all accounts, some measures should be deliberatively considered, such as publishers' of the significance between Chinese domain name and the development of a sci-tech periodical, the legal protection for Chinese domain names enhanced by the country's legislative body, regulating the administrative system of registration, and so on. Finally, the factual owners of the Chinese domain names ought to build up the legal consciousness and reclaim the malicious rush registration that actually belongs to them. |
