| Letters to the editor offer a platform for the communication between paper authors and journal editors, and allow a sustainable dialogue targeting journal contents. Little attention has been paid so far to such columns of domestic medical journals, and one of the reasons is that readers, authors and editors are not much aware of the requirements of writing such essays. This paper introduces and discusses this issue. |
