| The survival and development of sci-tech periodicals is faced with stern challenge under the fierce competition circumstance in the age of socialist market-oriented and knowledge-based economy. Only sci-tech periodical editors foster an ideal of lifelong learning firmly, master new concepts actively, investigate new problems, and cultivate the adaptive capacity of new environment, can the periodical take its place in the tough competition publications market and strengthen itself. The editors in the new era should be modern inter-disciplinary talent of periodical editors, integrating editing and proofreading, marketing, writing, negotiation, and management as a whole. |
