| Based on the analysis of Journal of Chinese Family Doctor, it is considered that series and collections are two major forms of special topic planning for popular medical journals, in which collections of special topics can be combinative or comprehensive. The key approaches of planning special topics are to profoundly understand publishing intention and to sensitively grasp hotspots and requirements. |
