| Open access is a new way for academic publishing and communication. This article, taking the online journal—PLOS ONE as an example, studies the open access publishing model. The related issues include the peer-review process, publication charges, copyright issues, evaluation method, etc. The coexistent evaluation model of peer review and the evaluation after publication is particularly worth thinking and learning for Chinese scientific journals. |
