| 高校科技学术期刊要取得科学发展,应在3个维度上下工夫:一是发展的“高度”,也就是特色发展,须寻定特色之位,找准特色之点,探求特色之路；二是发展的“长度”, 也就是持久发展,须勘定原创之基石,选定精品之目标,确定队伍之措施；三是发展的“宽度”,也就是协调发展,应在主管部门的主导和行业组织的统筹下,对期刊资源进行优化和重组,使期刊的学科分布结构得到优化,基本解决主体趋同、重复建设、同质竞争等问题,提升高校科技学术期刊的核心竞争力。 |

| University sci-tech journals should take three dimensions into consideration for further development. One is the "height" — the positioning of the journal, that is, the journal should establish its unique features. Another is the "length" — the sustainable development of the journal, which means the journal should consider originality as its priority. The third is the "width" —the coordinated development of the journal, which means the journal should optimize its resources and improve the distribution of different disciplines under the guidance of the administrative department. |
