| This paper reviews the development of the characteristic column "Petrochemical" in Journal of Liaoning Shihua University. The paper makes a detailed introduction of the attempts in publishing the characteristic column, including emphasizing planning awareness, paying attention to petrochemical hot issues, nurturing the awareness of serving authors and readers, and actively contributing ideas to the development of local economy, so as to improve the journal influence. The practical experience mentioned above will provide a solution for journals of local colleges and universities that are facing the problem of shortage of their characteristics. |
