| In the process of editing, editors of sci-tech periodicals may often find various types of common errors in data in manuscripts, including those perverse, paradoxical, mixed up, unclear of concepts, confused in logic, and erroneous in units and calculation. By analyzing these types of common errors, this article discusses how to find errors in data for reviewers, editors and proofreaders, which could provide reference for them in reviewing, editing and proofreading. It is hoped that reviewers, editors and proofreaders could find and correct such errors in data and could encourage and inspire the authors to check the data carefully when writing academic papers. |
