| This paper introduces a new application of Word 2007 to check the consistency of the references cited in the text and those in the bibliographic list, to normalize the symbols used in the bibliographic references, and to examine the repeated references, by making use of the functions in Word 2007 of windows splitting, searching, ranking, and macro programming. This application would improve the work efficiency of journal editors when they edit and proofread references of academic papers. |
