| Based on the editing and processing examples of figures and tables in Transactions of Atmospheric Sciences, this paper carefully distinguishes the standard and appropriate use of figures and tables in scientific papers, and systematically summarizes eight kinds of situations of figure and table editing and processing in scientific papers:modifying figures, processing tables, changing figures into tables, changing tables into figures, selecting figures when figures and tables repeated, selecting tables when figures and tables repeated, changing figures into text descriptions, and changing tables into text descriptions. |
