| National funding projects for supporting the development of sci-tech journals has been implemented for more twenty years in China, which greatly enhanced the conditions and improved the environment of developing sci-tech journals. However, there are some problems during implementation of the funding projects. The author seriously analyzed and though about these problems and then raised several suggestions for initiating and developing world first-class sci-tech journals in China, including prioritizing the establishment of international digital publishing and dissemination platform, publishing group and editing management system, which may prepare China for being the major sci-tech center in the world in the future. |
