| This paper is the author’s speech at the working conference of Chinese Medical Association Publishing House on December 11, 2020. From the perspective of the chief editor, four suggestions are made on the construction of journals. Firstly, the chief editor should cultivate and promote the growth of journal; secondly, the chief editor should recognize and attach importance to “ontology” of journal; thirdly, academic journal should be understandable; fourthly, journal should be a platform for accumulating new knowledge. |
