| Editors form the backbone of sci-tech journals. In order to create world-class sci-tech journals and boost the country’s strength through sci-tech publications, it is absolutely necessary to build a high-quality editorial team capable for shouldering heavy responsibilities. In the new era, loyal and professional is the fundamental requirement for sci-tech journal editors. Loyal refers to political qualities and career commitment while professional means scientific literacy and specialized knowledge and ability. In order to become loyal and professional editors, scientific journal editors should try to enhance their political qualities, strengthen their sense of commitment, promote their scientific literacy and develop their professional competence so as to become loyal and professional editors. |
