| The copyright licensing industry of Chinese journals is not yet mature. However, against the backdrop of growing publishing globalization and under the influence of exclusive publishing rights, issues such as copyright trading will become more complex. This paper summarizes the current practices of copyright trading for world-class English language journals, disusses the unique problems encountered by co-published English language journals in dealing with copyright licensing, demonstrates the importance of exclusive publishing rights for the publishing industry, and puts forward some suggestions to Chinese journals optimizing their co-publishing modes. |
