      科技期刊青年编委会的建设势头如火如荼。在此热潮下,各科技期刊编辑部纷纷组建自己的青年编委队伍。笔者所在单位的期刊也是如此,3种期刊分别建立了自己的青年编委会。在此过程中,笔者先后遇到了一些现象和问题,并进行了自己的思考,期待我们的经验能够为其他科技期刊在青年编委会组建过程中提供部分有益的参考。在科技期刊青年编委遴选、管理与建设过程中,期刊的优劣可能会被狭隘地以客观指标和青年编委遴选条件的高低而评判;设定的工作量评分可能难以充分顾及每位青年编委的专业和职位而有失公允;学术资源的有限分配可能会影响青年编委的内部和谐;科技期刊的发展与青年编委的进步能否做到同频共振,不同类型青年学者如何能够充分发挥各自优势进而促进科技期刊建设。面对这些问题,笔者认为在大力弘扬新时代科学家精神的基础上,建立全面充分客观动态调整的青年编委工作量评价体系,设立科学合理及可落实的青年编委准入和退出机制可有助于规避或解决以上问题。科技期刊人应该切实从自身期刊实际情况考虑,不落伍不盲从,坚守好自己的学术阵地,为打造良好的学术生态发挥科技期刊人应有的作用。

      The construction of the youth editorial board of STM journals has been popular in many editorial departments and three journals in our affiliation have established ours. During this process, we would like to share some experience to provide references for other STM journals. In the process of selection, management and construction of young editorial boards of STM journals, there are some issues emerged, such as the quality of journals may be narrowly judged by some objective indicators and selection criteria for young editorial board members; the present workload score may not be justifiable due to unable to fully consider every young editorial members’ specialty and position; the limited allocation of academic resources may affect the internal harmony among the young editorial members; whether the development of STM journals keeps the pace with the progress of the young editorial board;and how can different types of young editorial members take their full advantage to promote the construction of STM journals. On the basis of vigorously promoting the spirit of scientists in the new era, it is possible to avoid or solve the above problems by establishing a comprehensive, full, objective and dynamic workload evaluation system, and a scientific, reasonable and implementable access and exit mechanism for young editorial members. STM journals should consider their own situation, not be outdated or follow blindly, stick to their own academic positions, and play their role in developing a good academic ecology.
