| Taking Ecology and Environmental Monitoring of Three Gorges sponsored by Yangtze Normal University as an example, this paper introduces the journal's purpose of serving the ecological environment security and construction of the Three Gorges Reservoir area under the guidance of Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought. By striving for policy support, making use of geographical advantages and refining the characteristics of periodicals, the journal has achieved initial success in serving the construction of ecological civilization.This practice proves that local universities can also run high-quality scientific journals by closely following the national policies, adhering to the original intention of the journal, enhancing the self-confidence of the dynamic journal team, and improving the journal’s service effectiveness and integrated development. |
