      基于基本科学指标(ESI)数据库,分析了2019—2023年中国(本文未统计港澳台地区)作者发表的以及中国所属的Web of Science(WOS)核心合集期刊出版的国际合作论文数量,以及两者在22个ESI学科的分布,旨在调查我国国际合作论文规模与地域结构的变化趋势。研究表明:5年间中美科研合作论文的占比有所下降,且中国与其他国家和地区的整体科研合作水平未显著提升,反映出我国科研产出格局的独立性在增强,但未充分挖掘我国和除美国以外的其他国家和地区的国际科研合作需求。建议中国SCI期刊应立足于全球产业链,积极捕捉近年来国际科研合作的新形势,并扎根于各学科的国际科研合作基础,通过加大国际合作论文的出版占比,以我国科研创新内循环带动国际科研发展外循环。特别是对金色开放获取(OA)期刊来说,积极融入全球视野下的“刊产学研”创新产业链可以提升金色OA期刊的国际学术影响力和经济收益,有助于构建开放共享的学术交流平台。

      Utilizing the Essential Science Indicators(ESI)database, this study delves into the quantity of international collaborative research papers authored by Chinese researchers(excluding Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) and published in the Web of Science(WOS)core collection journals originating from China between 2019 and 2023. It further examines the distribution of these papers across 22 ESI disciplines. The primary objective is to explore the evolving trends in the scale and geographical distribution of China’s international collaborative papers. The results indicate a decrement in the proportion of Sino-American collaborative research papers over the five-year period, while the overall extent of China’s scientific cooperation with other countries and regions remains largely unchanged. This trend underscores an emerging independence in China’s research production but also highlights inadequate exploration of international cooperation opportunities beyond the United States. It is advisable for Chinese SCI journals to establish a strong foothold in global industrial chains, astutely perceive and adapt to the shifting paradigms of international scientific research cooperation, and anchor their endeavors in multidisciplinary international research collaboration. By augmenting the publication share of international collaborative papers, these journals can synchronize the external loop of international scientific advancement with China’s internal technological innovation cycle. Specifically, gold open access(OA)journals should actively engage in the “publishing-industry-academia-research” innovation chain from a global vantage point, thereby enhancing their international academic standing and economic benefits, and fostering the creation of an open and inclusive academic exchange platform.
