| 封面是科技期刊的“门面”,也是给读者的第一印象,承载着吸引读者、传达学术特色与品牌定位的重要功能。以农业综合类期刊《福建农业科技》为例,从封面革新的初衷、设计探索的历程、设计风格的塑造、制作流程的精细化管理4个方面,详尽阐述了该期刊封面设计的实践与探索过程,并提出了拓展稿源的途径、成果转化的桥梁、多向交互的平台、科技服务的纽带等4个对期刊封面的崭新角色定位,最后强调了封面设计中的规范技巧、提升建议以及取得的成效,以期为同类期刊提供可借鉴的经验与启示。 |

| The cover of a sci-tech journal functions as its “facade” creating a lasting first impression and fulfilling crucial roles in attracting readers, communicating academic characteristics, and shaping brand identity. This study delves into the detailed practice and exploratory process of journal cover design by examining the agricultural comprehensive journal, Fujian Agricultural Science and Technology. It elaborates on four key aspects:the initial intent behind cover innovation, the journey of design exploration, the formulation of design styles, and the meticulous management of the production process. Subsequently, four novel role orientations for periodical covers are proposed:broadening the scope of manuscript sources, serving as a bridge for research-to-application transformation, fostering multilateral interaction platforms, and linking sci-tech services. Ultimately, the study emphasizes normative design techniques, suggestions for improvement, and the outcomes achieved, aiming to offer valuable insights and guidance to journals within the same field. |
