| Sci-tech journals published by local colleges and universities play a pivotal and irreplaceable role in both the academic development of their host institutions and the economic growth of their respective regions. These journals contribute to discipline construction by highlighting professional accomplishments, supporting the establishment of top-tier majors, showcasing advancements in scientific research teams, aiding in the construction of key laboratories, and demonstrating research excellence to facilitate the application for master’s degree authorization, among other initiatives. Furthermore, they actively engage in promoting rural sci-tech specialists to foster rural revitalization, advancing sci-tech research to empower local industrial innovation and development, and integrating regional characteristics to inject fresh impetus into development endeavors. This comprehensive approach encompasses various practices and explorations aimed at serving regional economic development. Ultimately, the objective is to offer valuable insights for sci-tech journals at local colleges and universities, guiding them in their contributions to discipline construction and regional economic advancement. |
