| The advancement of high-quality development for sci-tech journals necessitates the dedication of expert editors. In the era of convergence, the trend towards clustering-based development has led to the optimization and integration of journal resources, along with the transformation of editing workflows. Specialization among editors, where professionals handle specialized tasks, represents a practical approach to enhancing the quality and efficiency of sci-tech journal operations. This paper outlines the pivotal qualities and training pathways for editors assuming diverse roles within the context of clustered development. Furthermore, it offers sci-tech editors guidance on how to accurately position themselves based on their individual strengths, identify the core focus of their editorial duties, and concentrate on key priorities and practical strategies in their work. |
