| Taking the characteristic column “Regenerative Medicine” of the journal “Traffic Medicine” hosted by Nantong University as an example, this paper summarizes the background of the establishment of the column, the measures and achievements of the column construction, and introduces the experience in meticulously creating characteristic column through measures such as strengthening the topic planning work, relying on experts to set up the column, and strengthening the construction of the editing team. The practice indicates that the construction of characteristic column not only boosts the development of academic subject and the cultivation of medical talents, but also promotes the progress of medical science and the development of the medical industry. Moreover, it enhances the influence of the journal and the reputation of universitiy. |
