      依托数字出版平台的科技期刊集群化建设,是破解我国科技期刊“小、散、弱”发展困境、提升国际竞争力的重要路径。作为“中国科技期刊卓越行动计划”集群化试点单位,科学出版社以自有高水平国际科技期刊为引领,依托SciEngine全流程出版与知识服务平台,构建了涵盖服务、技术、人才与生态的多维度集群化支撑体系,支持新刊创办、推动海外期刊回归、优化全流程出版协作、构建开放科学基础设施、强化学术诚信治理,并持续推进技术赋能与服务升级。本文在总结实践经验与建设成效的基础上,进一步分析了当前集群化进程中面临的关键挑战,包括规模效应不足、自身造血能力较弱、技术投入相对有限、知识服务能力滞后等问题,以期为我国科技期刊的集约化发展和集群化运营提供参考与借鉴。
英文摘要:
      The clustering-based development of sci-tech journals on digital publishing platforms serves as a crucial strategy to overcome the small,fragmented,and weak state of China’s sci-tech journals ecosystem and enhance its international competitiveness. As a pilot cluster unit under the “China Sci-Tech Journal Excellence Action Plan”, Science Press has established a multidimensional support system covering services,technology,talent,and ecosystem development. Guided by its portfolio of high-level international journals and supported by the SciEngine full-process publishing and knowledge service platform,the press has promoted multiple initiatives:assisting new journal launches,facilitating the return of overseas journals,optimizing end-to-end publishing collaboration,developing open science infrastructure,strengthening research integrity governance,and advancing continuous technological empowerment and service upgrades. This paper summarizes these practical experiences and achievements,and further analyzes key challenges in the clustering process,such as the insufficient scale of the journal portfolio,weak self-sustaining capacity,limited technology investment,and lagging knowledge service capabilities. The study aims to provide insights and references for the intensive development and clustering-based operation of sci-tech journals in China.
