      建设一支有理想、有能力、有学识的精干、高效、专业化的青年编辑人才队伍,是实现科技期刊尤其是新创办国际学术期刊高质量、可持续发展的重要保障。然而,受学术期刊体制机制和运营模式等多重因素的影响,国内期刊青年编辑人才的综合素养提升仍面临诸多挑战。本文通过比较和分析国内外案例,探讨了我国学术期刊青年编辑人才培养模式的现状和挑战。以中国科学院青岛生物能源与过程研究所主办的期刊Green Carbon为例,详细介绍了在单刊运营模式下,该期刊采取的“业务筑基—学术强核—实践赋能”三位一体实证实践,通过跨机构协作强化标准化作业、组建主编助理团队突破学科局限、实施专家绑定机制拓展学术网络、开展学研一体实践提升选题策划能力等系列举措,显著提升青年编辑综合素养,为国内新创学术期刊编辑部的青年人才培养提供了有益的借鉴和启示。

      Building a competent, efficient, and professional team of young editorial talent with ideals, capabilities, and knowledge is a crucial guarantee for the high-quality and sustainable development of sci-tech journals, especially newly-established international academic journals. However, due to factors such as the institutional mechanisms and operational models of academic journals, enhancing the comprehensive qualities of young editorial talent in China remains challenging. This paper explores the current status and challenges of the training models for young editorial talent in China’s academic journals through comparative analysis of Chinese and international cases. Taking Green Carbon, a journal sponsored by the Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as an example, this paper details the “business foundation-building academic core-strengthening-practice empowerment” trinity empirical practice adopted by the journal under the single-journal operational model. Through a series of measures, including cross-institutional collaboration to reinforce standardized operations, the establishment of an editor-in-chief assistant team to break through disciplinary limitations, the implementation of an expert-binding mechanism to expand academic networks, and the integration of academic research and practice to enhance topic selection and planning capabilities, the comprehensive qualities of young editors have been significantly improved. This provides valuable references and insights for the cultivation of young talent in editorial departments of newly-established academic journals in China.
