| This article centers on the strategic planning and publication of academic journals’ anniversary editions. Through an examination of notable cases from both domestic and international academic journals, it delves into the content planning models and distinctive features of these anniversary issues, approached from two thematic lenses:historical retrospectives and academic hotspots. It further explores the varied planning avenues available and the specific demands placed on content curation, editing, and design. Utilizing the 70th-anniversary edition of the Architectural Journal as a case study, the article encapsulates the comprehensive process encompassing planning, content curation, layout design, editing, and promotional strategies, with the objective of offering insights and practical references for the editorial and publication endeavors of academic journals’ anniversary issues. |
