| The development of periodicals in China has entered a critical stage of clustering. Achieving high-quality development of periodical clusters is an inevitable requirement for the transformation and upgrading of periodical publishing in the new era. In recent years, the Periodicals Publishing House of Xi''an Jiaotong University has actively explored an embedded Party building model. By adhering to the Party organization''s role in setting the direction, managing the overall situation and ensuring implementation, establishing an integrated Party building system compatible with the development of the periodical cluster, building an operational mechanism for the in-depth integration of Party building and periodical cluster development, integrating Party building into the entire industrial chain of core businesses of the periodical cluster, and fostering a cluster culture guided by Party building, the center has realized the political, organizational, institutional, operational and cultural embedding of Party building. These efforts have helped maintain a correct and clear orientation for periodical operation, yielded remarkable results in resource integration, expanded the scale of the periodical cluster continuously, and improved the quality of talent team construction. Practices have proved that embedded Party building and the development of periodical clusters can empower each other and forge ahead in tandem. Therefore, we should adhere to political guidance, focus on business integration, innovate working methods and improve institutional guarantees, so as to enable embedded Party building to deliver tangible results in promoting the high-quality development of periodical clusters. |
