| The infrastructural transformation of scientific journal cluster publishing platforms is a strategic initiative to promote the high-quality development of China's scientific journals, foster world-class scientific journals, and support the nation's goal of becoming a global leader in science and technology. Based on an analysis of the current state of scientific journal cluster publishing platform development, this paper systematically elaborates on the urgency, intrinsic value, and implementation pathways of this infrastructural transformation. The study argues that the infrastructural transformation of platforms is not merely a technological upgrade but a comprehensive reshaping of publishing philosophy, operational models, and ecosystem development. It is characterized by foundationality, public welfare, empowerment, and systematicity. Guided by the concept of Agile Publishing, the paper proposes pathways such as building open and collaborative networked platforms, implementing lightweight operations, strengthening integrity foundations, deepening intelligent empowerment, and constructing an autonomous discourse system. These measures aim to advance scientific journal cluster publishing platforms toward digitalization, intellectualization, and integration, ultimately establishing an academic infrastructure that supports national scientific and technological innovation. |
