| Through literature review and empirical research, the authors carried out thorough analysis on characteristics and the history of New China's sports academic periodicals. The results show that sports academic periodicals have experienced four historical periods:rudiment, exploration, finalizing and mature from 1959 to 2009. Every period has its own characteristics. |
